That’s how i found out i had MS was through my eye . Optic neuritis. Went to the eye doctor with blurry vision and terrible pain in my left eye with any movement i made . It was lasting for days would wake up with it. Thought maybe it was from working at computer all day . Eye Dr did tests . Found inflammation in my eye . Told me about MS and that this is a symptom of it . He sent me to the ER from the eye doctors and then from there with further testing i was diagnosed.

Omg. Our stories are so similar. I’m 47, diagnosed 20 years ago. Numbness in my leg, I couldn’t feel the razor when shaving. I was blown off by doctors beforehand… one telling me it was something hormonal. It was MS for years before diagnosed.

My first "diagnosis" was sciatica. Co-workers were curious how I kept walking out of my slip-on shoes not realizing it. Another doc asked me about hot baths. He immediately diagnosed MS in 1989. Said I would be in wheelchair within a yr. No meds until 2019 and no wheelchair, still.
