Fusion proteins are actually really good news because they are completely unique to the cancer. By targeting it (think vaccine against the fusion protein) you can target the cancer cells more directly. Since it’s immune cold I’m not sure how well it’d work but it’s very very promising! (I’m a grad student studying immunology for context)

Hey lovey! I was diagnosed with alveolar soft part sarcoma in 2014- similar genetic background with chromosome mishap. I was terminal and did 4 clinical trials and in 2016 I did my last treatment- a dual combination immunotherapy trial saved me despite there being no known treatment ❤️try to stay positive
