I live in Sendai it wasn’t bad at all only if u are like really close to the sea, it was a like normal earthquake and tsunami sirens were all going off but ended up fine not sure about Aomori tho

We are cooked up here . Near Aomori / Hokkaido it was worse . My phone broke , everything FELL /broke shattered . Im near the coast too so was super worried for the aftermath of a tsunami. It did hit but im far enough inland to be ok .

I live in Sendai and it was lwk scary but ab 3 years ago there was a 7.2 earthquake which was even bigger and I am used to it now so even for me in Sendai it wasn’t that bad

I am in Sendai. if they were here last night, they should be ok. It was around a magnitude 3 for us, lasted 30 seconds max and had a 1 meter tsunami warning.
