#Krishna #Kṛṣṇa #Radha #Krishna_the_Supreme_Personality_Of_Godhead #Iskcon Kṛṣṇa (pronounced "Krishna") is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the source of all joy, bliss and happiness. The name Kṛṣṇa signifies "all-attractive." The name itself holds great significance: "Kṛṣ" refers to the repetition of birth, and "ṇa" refers to one who puts a stop to it. Only Krishna (the Supreme Personality of Godhead) can prevent us from being born again and again. Without the causeless mercy of Krishna (God) no one can escape the cycle of birth and death. Kṛṣṇa is referred to as "Bhagavān". "Bhaga" means "opulence" or "fullness," and "vān" means "one who possesses." We may have a certain conception of Kṛṣṇa (God) but Vedic literature precisely describes and defines what is meant by the term "God," and this can be summarized in a single word: "Bhagavān". "Bhagavān" possesses all opulences — the totality of all knowledge, wealth, power, beauty, fame, strength, and renunciation. If we find someone who possesses these opulences to the fullest extent, we should know that he is God [Kṛṣṇa]. There are many wealthy, wise, famous, beautiful, and strong people, yet no one can claim to possess all these opulences. Only Kṛṣṇa lays claim to possessing them in their entirety. "A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries.". — Bhagavad-Gītā, Chapter 5 Verse 29 — Krishna’s (Kṛṣṇa’s) body or rather, His form is "sac-cid-ānanda". "Sat" means "eternal," "cit" means "knowledge," and "ānanda" means "joy" and "bliss." Krishna’s, or Kṛṣṇa’s, "sac-cid-ānanda" body is a form filled with eternity, knowledge, and bliss. It is written in the "Śrī Īśopaniṣad": "The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the Complete Whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance". — Śrī Īśopaniṣad – Invocation —
