Except they did ask to pause. They didn’t fire you. You need to be clear that you don’t offer a “pause” and that if you stop your services a spot might not be available when you decide to return in the new year. Clarify your terms to your client 🙄🙄🙄

Same goes for other services. I’m a horse trainer and if someone pauses I have to fill that space so I can pay my bills.

I only take back the clients I love who paused for good reasons (ie. Temporary job loss/reduction), if I still have availability. They might not get their same day/time back but if I love them, I’ll fit them in ❤

Weird, pre-Christmas, we used to get our cleaner to put in extra hours for a deep clean, she had more money for her Christmas, and we had an extra clean house for guests.
