I mean this with tons of love. Him and you deserve to be there as much as anyone else and if you’re sitting out there to avoid “bothering” others then your parish is failing you. If you’re sitting out there because it’s better for your child that is different. You’re doing a great job mama 💖

I listened to a priest talk about this- He said that coming to Mass is a sacrifice to God. But especially for mothers of young children- that when we are unable to participate in the Mass, our sacrifice to God is greater. 💙 Jesus sees you. Mary sees you. All of us other moms with kids who need some time outside of Mass see you too. 💙

I like this thought, and your thoughtfulness of others during worship. Please know that hearing children in mass warms my heart. Don’t worry about your littles and the noises they make, they are precious in His sight.

This mother of 30+ year old boys left Mass mad 50% of the time. They would cry or fight or just misbehave. Sometimes I wondered why I even went when I was mad at them for their behavior (real talk from real mom). But you know what? It paid off. Both of my sons are amazing Christians. Keep going momma.

Wait your church doesn’t have a separate room for moms with little kids/babies? The church I go to invested money to build a room (and bathrooms) for parents with kids. It provides comfortable chairs and space so they can move around while listening and seeing the service via a window wall.

Join a church that embraces families and provides family services, activities, child care during services, etc. Mass is not structured for small children and stresses parents.
