Did you know the card companies use to have regular people send them poems, jokes and things like that to use on cards. they would pay the people a few bucks to use their ideas. my great grandma used to send in her ideas. that's what she did for extra income. she told me she did that from the 1930s til the 1970s.

Vintage cards are SO much better. You look at the vintage cards your grandparents or great grandparents gave each other and they are BEAUTIFUL!
