In a non snotty way we Catholics do worship on an intense level. yes a song might seem like worship to a Protestant but it never was to us. The whole Mass is an act of sacrifice and worship for God.

…. Who will probably become Catholic… I am overjoyed. I have no one to share in this excitement with, I’m been following for some time, patiently waiting for this conversion

As a Catholic, I have been loving these videos. Even if you never become Catholic, the genuineness and openness you have toward Catholicism is so refreshing and charitable. Thank you. Praying for you. 🙏🏼

appreciate your breakdown of how mary + saints point us to God vs how idols in the bible “play” god. i’m still struggling with recognizing mary & saints bc there’s just so much i still don’t understand :’)

Growing up Protestant attending many many services I always felt so out of place during worship because it felt like a concert I have always hated that but whenever I attend mass I feel so good about the intensity of that service

I'm a Catholic and I have been feeling the same lately, especially with the rosary because the mother Mary I know would never want us to pray the Lord's prayer only 6 times but the hail mary 53 times... and also it's not Mary or the saints, it's the priests that have brought us to here. the other day I heard a local priest saying "give your heart and all your problems to mother Mary and she'll take care of it", I was like no?? we should give them only to God...

As a lifelong Catholic, I really appreciate what you are doing on your page. You are helping Protestants and other non-Catholics to understand what we actually believe. “There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate The Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.” Fulton J. Sheen

I’m converting from Protestant to Catholic rn as well! The narrative I received about Catholicism from everyone I knew growing up is so different from the reality.

I’m a convert myself, three years in from Presbyterian, non-denominational, and black/African Pentecostal/charismatic backgrounds. I love to see people discovering the Catholic faith. Blessings on you as you seek 🙏🏾

“Best practice is what I have to lay my roots in” that’s exactly why I started OCIA. The Eucharist is the way I must worship Him

We venerate her. She’s very important to us Catholics 🫶🏻 we do not worship her.

Any honor we give Mary is simply echoing what God already did when He chose her, filled her with grace, and sent an angel to proclaim her blessed among women.

I think it is interesting how Protestants can sing “Mary, Did You Know?” and use Nativity statues in December, yet criticize Catholics for the same things during the rest of the year. They obviously understand the nuance of using images and Marian hymns for teaching and storytelling rather than worship, but they only allow that nuance when it fits their own traditions. It shows how often Protestants ideas of what is “orthodox” are shaped more by cultural comfort than by consistent reasoning.

Exactly! No one is above the Lord Jesus Christ! And even if you speak to a “Catholic” who tells you otherwise, they are misguided. God alone! It’s just beautiful to see the Lord in his creations and to wish to be like them

The Catholic Mass is PERFECT worship. Yep, the Holy Spirit 🔥 is working in you. Like Mary you are listening to God and saying "Yes" to God. Only the Holy Spirit can convert you. God bless your journey. 🥰
