6.7 Cummins power stroke, these bolts broke off, broke off the front of bolt.

Not all Cummins engines have that shim. Also there is no need to put loc-tite on the balancer bolts. It doesn’t come with loc-tite from the factory. The bolts did not back out. The balancer started to swell and broke the bolts. There is a STAR case on it.

someone either had it off and didn t torque the bolts at the wright torque they put them it and hand cranked them until they stretched
