As a life insurance broker, this is true and I have helped client set all this up. You set up a trust then put the policy under it. Depending on if you want more access or growth. WL or IUL can be the policy. You can have immediate access if you fund it correctly. Most people just aren’t educated

dont get a trust until you have a lot of expensive things, a trust is just a will, what people should do instead is get life for no more than 7 years, while having life insurance, make the bank be rhe main holder and thats how u borrow

A typical probate cost about 3% of the estate. So if you have a million dollar estate the lawyers will get 30K. Or you can pay an attorney about 3k to create a trust and save 27K. As far as life insurance goes, the type they are referring to ( whole life ) is a poor investment by comparison to others
