What was the child’s seat? An aisle seat? If it were a middle seat I probably not give up my seat. But ultimately it’s up to the parents to control their child. Not put this on the paying passenger to give up her assigned seat.

I completely agree with her. If I were in her place, I wouldn’t give up my seat for a child either. She did absolutely nothing wrong. If that family wanted a window seat, they should’ve paid for it in advance instead of trying to guilt someone else into giving up what they paid for. And honestly, they should focus on raising their child properly before demanding favors from strangers. And why did her workplace fire her? That’s completely unjustified. She should take legal action against that rude, stingy family who tried to cause a scene just to benefit from it. If they had an issue, they should’ve spoken to the cabin crew, not bullied a normal passenger. Instead, they created drama hoping to gain something out of it. She should also consider suing her workplace for acting on assumptions and judging her without any proper investigation. No employee should lose their job because a family decided to make noise instead of following airline procedures.
