extremely lucky. I've seen so many times when there's a under the hood fire, the moment the hood is flung open it ignites even more due to the air flow.

I had a HUGE bubble on my back tire and a man on the road tried for like 10 min to catch my attention. If I woulda gotten on the freeway which I was headed there my tire would have popped. I’m grateful for people that actually care to help others.

and this is why I always carry a fire extinguisher in my car. Had a fire start one time and I was able to put it out quickly but if it wasn't for that fire extinguisher my car would have been a burnt out husk. It was a LeSabre and the back seat cushion frame Made contact with the battery and caught the seat on fire. didn't even know about it until the cabin started filling up with smoke and the fire broke through the seat cushion while I was driving over 85 mph on I95. immediately pulled over and hit it with the fire extinguisher and then continued on my way. got a new backseat cushion from my local Pick-n-Pull for 15 bucks 😅
