i got a car from carvana with the airbag light covered up just like that. didnt notice it for over a year.

All of the dash lights turn on for a few seconds when you turn the key on, specifically so you can see if a bulb is out.

The SES light comes on as soon as you key over before you start a car. Just a FYI.
