Joe eventually enters juvenile detention, where he meets Toru Rikiishi, a talented and disciplined boxer. The two become fierce rivals but develop a deep respect for each other. After leaving detention, Joe begins his boxing career. He becomes famous for his aggressive fighting style and his powerful Cross Counter. 💔 Rikiishi’s Death Joe and Rikiishi eventually have their long-awaited professional fight. Rikiishi desperately loses weight to enter Joe’s weight class, severely damaging his body in the process. He defeats Joe, but his health collapses afterward, and Rikiishi dies. Joe is devastated and feels responsible for his death. Rikiishi’s death changes Joe forever. 🇲🇽 Carlos Rivera Joe eventually returns to boxing and faces Carlos Rivera, a famous Mexican fighter.
