I’m 21! Starting Lpn school at 22 with an end goal to be a NP. I feel behind because I’ll graduated Lpn at 23/24.. rn 25/26 and NP 28/29 but the time is going to pass anyways. Might as well be an age with a degree then being 23-28 with no career and regrets

Inspired by you! Applied to fnp school waiting to hear back. I’m terrified to start though. Is it doable with a 2 yr old while working pt? How am I going to pay back the hugeee np loan? Is the pay/ responsibility of a np going to be worth it? I have no confidence in myself

Amen sister! I’m so thankful I left corporate and dove into cosmetology. I had no intentions of going to hair school. I was growing in my career very quickly and making very good money but I was gone all the time, and my days were incredibly long. I wanted something where I could be creative, make a difference for others, but also make my own schedule and run my own business. I kept praying about what to do and I really felt like God was saying “enroll in cosmetology.” I kept fighting him on it and it just kept coming up. I finally was like what’s the worst that could happen 😅. I enrolled and started two weeks later. I almost quit cosmetology school. It was one of the HARDEST things I’ve done and it was so incredibly worth it. My husband, everyday, told me how proud he was and to keep going. I’m so glad I finished. I’m truly blessed with my career and so grateful for the opportunity to do this and make a difference in my clients lives. 💗🥹
