sure...lets say this works, which on this sheet yeah fine... you could do it this way, but only because none of the combos equal >9... when they do, this concept becomes useless.... the only reasonable use for this concept, that I can see, is to show kids the (tenth, hundredth, & thousandth etc. placement) before then teaching them the proper way & explaining how to carryover when necessary.

because understanding those placements here makes understanding the mirrored placements on the other side of a decimal easier...for when you start learning about percentages.

ex:
100*1.10 = 110 [110%]
100*1.07 = 107 [107%]
