Unfortunately they kinda did win. They defended capitalism after the Great Depression, they killed millions of anti-capitalists and ethnic groups that were involved in opposing capitalism across Europe, Germany lost but the Nzis just fled to the US and NATO

Well yeah, but also fascism isn’t sustainable, at least not their version of it. It’s a meat grinder. Once they ran out of a group to target they had to keep finding new ones. If you look at what this does eventually everyone becomes a target. You can’t keep that going.

Their model of governing depended entirely on aggressive expansion. That is not sustainable. Blitzkrieg. Japan did the same thing. It was never going to work in the long term.

People legit forget that the fact Germany even did as well as it did was due to insane, with a lot of luck and conditions being in their favor. And they still lost.

There’s also the fact that Germany under wartime conditions had no way to get enough fuel to keep their army advancing, and so the entire army in a prolonged war had a ticking timebomb that would cause the front line to collapse

We agree completely. Some additional points: 1) The level to which Germany thought the US would sympathize with racial profiling vastly misunderstood the history of slavery in the US; 2) AH made the blunder of attacking the USSR....timing didn't matter because the Soviets could always buy more with blood; 3) Allowing Japan to attack US land possessions (and not just shipping) meant peace with the US became impossible, which meant Britain (and Europe) would simply need to survive long enough; 4) Grievances against past regimes fall away and all that's left in public memory is recency.
