The thing is, is that even sacrifice? Or are they expecting something in return? Because that is no sacrifice at all. It’s like an investment, with expectation of big returns someday. 🤷🏽♂️

i love them and I understand why they're like that but I'm tired... too tired to even pretend I care enough to hold myself together sometimes. But then I see the signs of their aging and I realize they're tired too. We all are.
