I didn't learn.scales or shapes I jumped on sweet child intro now I've got the bug for radio head. no surprises. so jumping around different parts of the fret board with no structure is keeping me enjoying it and my old fingers are slowly stretching 👍

Velvet Revolver was so cool. Songs were so good I still listen to them today. Not fussed on the new Guns songs as they don't sound anything like what Guns originally sounded like.

Same for any instrument i think.Playing an instrument uses so many of your senses you have no choice but to be fully committed and it takes your mind off everything else.
