I recently got a Fiio M21, and genuinely changed the way I listen to music. I only hook it up to WiFi at home to download music, while I’m on the go I purely listen offline. I now listen to full albums from start to end instead of bouncing through endless streaming playlists; and makes me look forward to listening to what I have downloaded and think about what I want to listen to next more. I also intentionally haven’t fidgeted too much with EQs and launchers, in part because I’m happy with it mostly stock, but also because I don’t want it to be a distraction and I want to be plug and play. But if one day I want to play around I have those options too, to see what more I can get out of it.
