As someone who did the same thing, I can promise you kids are a lot harder. I love my little boy, and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me and it’s such a magical experience, but I never planned on being a mom, so he was a surprise. But we have had several pets over the years and love them all so much, but the love that we feel for him is absolutely in no way of comparison, and Pets are so much less WORK, we thought our pets were a lot of work and they were for pets, they were a lot of work… But our child is just constant, and constant need of us and our attention and we have to watch him for safety reasons every second of the day and we have to constantly be teaching him things and You kind of get a break from pets, they take naps. You can give them a chew toy and let them lay in their bed and stuff like that and looking back now I’m like how did I even think that pets were a lot of work lol but I will also tell you as someone who never imagine themselves as anything other than an entrepreneur building her own empire, I’m kind of doing both nowwith this little guy that is just my best friend in the whole world, and I love him with all my heart. I absolutely believe in a woman’s right to choose, and so you absolutely have to do. What’s right for you.💙

I fear the same thing happened to me. I actually was trying for kids and then stopped and went back on BC a couple months after getting our puppy. He’s literally my world. The only problem is the rest of the world just thinks he’s a dog, but no, he’s my child.

You will get into a routine soon and it will get easier. When you have kids the first few months is all your energy going OUT and Not much back but after a while that levels out🙏🙏🙏

Honestly I found the puppy phase wayyyyy harder and more stressful than the newborn stage!!

Puppy is just the beginning of training for kids-but having kids is FAR harder. I say to people all the time-only have kids if you are willing to put yourself in 2nd place for 30 years.

Kids are easier than dogs because they grow and become independent. Pups are the same but we only get them for a short time. 🥹

The dog is more annoying than a child. A child grows out of each stage and could be taught far far more than the dog.
