Try it and tag me! d’EATS -2 1/4 cups all purpose flour -1 tsp ground ginger -1 tsp cinnamon -1/2 tsp nutmeg -1 tsp salt -3/4 cup whole milk -3 tbsp unsalted butter -1 packet instant yeast -1 egg -1/4 cup granulated sugar -1 tsp vanilla Filling -5tbsp soft butter -1/2 cup brown sugar -1tbsp cinnamon -1 tsp ground ginger Icing -8oz cream cheese -1 1/2 cups powder sugar How to: Start by preheating your oven to 350F In a small microwave safe bowl heat your milk until it is warm. Add your instant yeast packet and allow it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes. In your stand mixing bowl combine your egg, room temperature butter, sugar, vanilla and milk mixture. Mix together before adding in your dry ingredients. using your dough hook mix on medium speed for 5-7 minutes. Once dough is mixed cover with a towel for 1 hour or until doubled in size. While your dough is resting mix your brown sugar and cinnamon together. Once your dough has rested place it on a floured surface and roll it out into a rectangle about 14”x10”. Spread soft butter on top then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll tightly and cut into 8-10 pieces. Add to a buttered 9x13 baking dish, cover dough and let it rest for 1-2 hours. Once your cinnamon rolls have doubled place them in the oven for 25-28 minutes. remove from oven, ice while hot and enjoy!
