The thing is I really believe he liked me. He told me things that most people wouldn’t tell someone they really didn’t trust. He said he liked me a lot and wanted to see where things could go, but a few weeks later he told me he wasn’t ready for a relationship. When we talked, he said it wasn’t about me but about him needing to work on himself. He made it clear he didn’t need me anymore, even though he still called when he was drunk. It hurt, but it was probably what I needed to hear. Because deep down I know i have to move on
