@sugarspiceddreams: bakemas day 9!! christmas sprinkle sugar cookies easy recipe: 1 cup unsalted butter (227g), softened 1 ½ cups granulated sugar (300g) 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk 2 tsp vanilla extract (10ml) ½ tsp almond extract 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (312g) ½ tsp salt (3g) ½ cup sprinkles ( optional ) preheat oven to 350°f (175°c) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. in a large bowl, mix the butter and sugar until smooth and glossy. stir in the egg, egg yolk, almond extract and vanilla until fully incorporated. in a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. scoop dough, place on a baking sheet and freeze for about 15-20( while you preheat the oven ). take them out and place on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are just set and the tops are glossy with a tiny crackle. let cookies cool on the sheet 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. #christmascookies #sugarcookies #christmasbaking #Recipe #cookie
