Christmas is just around the corner, and these Greek Honey Cookies are a true symbol that Christmas is almost here. They are one of the most popular treats enjoyed during the Christmas Holiday. Some people buy Cinnamon Clove Candles, but most Greek Yiayiaoulas make Melomakarona. They are so comforting and will have your whole home smelling like the best Christmas treat. The cookies are easy to make, making them a super low lift! I used @bobsredmill all-purpose with beautiful cinnamon, clove, orange juice and the other traditional baking culprits. You can try these with chocolate or even lemon juice if you feel zesty and creative! What takes these cookies to a WHOLE new level is the honey, orange, and cinnamon syrup they bathe in before being dusted with a stunning layer of walnut crumbles. These are my childhood in a baked good, and I know you will love them too. They are already my English husband’s favourite, and he’s spent all week enjoying them with a hot cup of tea—he said they are perfect for dunking!
