HOMEMADE HAMBURGER HELPER ⭐️🍔 recipe below! *serves 5* INGREDIENTS: - 1-1.5 lbs ground beef - 1 yellow onion (diced) - 4-5 cloves garlic (minced) - 2 tsps oregano - 1 tsp dried thyme - 1/2 tsp dried rosemary - 2 cups chicken bone broth - 1 cup almond milk - Half a jar of marinara - 1 tbsp arrowroot starch - 2 tbsps nutritional yeast - Olive oil for the pan - Salt + pepper - 1 box of pasta noodles (I’m using banza for more protein & fiber) INSTRUCTIONS: - start by dicing your onion and mincing your garlic. - Then heat up a large pot over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and your garlic and onion. Saute until just softened, ~1-2 minutes. - Then add in one pound of ground beef. Break it up til it’s brown you know the drill. Season generously with salt and pepper. - Once the beef is browned, add in your almond milk (or milk of your choosing), chicken bone broth, marinara sauce. Give it a quick mix. - Then add your oregano, dried thyme, dried rosemary. Mix until fully combined then add in your arrowroot starch. Give it another quick mix then bring it to a steady simmer (I raised the heat to medium high) - Add in your noodles and stir every couple minutes until the liquid is absorbed and the noodles are cooked (~10-12 minutes) - Lastly stir in 2 tbsps nutritional yeast and season with salt and pepper to taste. - Then it’s time to plate!!!
