The Yoto player (not the mini) also has sleep sounds and a room thermometer. I put a Yoto on my baby registry instead of a hatch and I’m so glad I did bc it will grow with her.

Ugh we have a tonies box we've had for 3ish years but now that my kiddo is 6 I feel like he would LOVE to have books and tonies is super limited. Plus the Disney characters aren't even the same voices 😅

My favorite thing about the Yoto is even when they become older, like school age, they have a lot of math cards that your child can use to do addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication, which is really nice, and also they have content from 0 to 12, which is going to last so much longer than the Toniebox, in my opinion. And also, this is an easy way to introduce podcasts because you can easily put them on, and you can also put your children's favorite radio station on it too, which makes it so much fun because as they become older, like middle school and teenagers You can just put music that they like on the make-your-own card, and now they have an easy way to constantly be able to listen to music without having to have a monthly subscription from a streaming platform, and it's also useful when your kids are school-age; this is the alarm so they're used to waking up from an alarm, and not to mention, during summer it has a feature on the bigger one that tells your kids when it's appropriate for them to get out of bed and get you so you're not waking up at 5:00 in the morning if you don't want them to, and also tell someone to go to bed if you set it up that way so they have a consistent sleep routine if you want.

We got the Yoto for our first kid at 18 months, now approx 4, and it was used occasionally. The ability to play from your phone was nice, but also…there’s Spotify, etc. We recently got a Toniebox and it’s used multiple times daily by the older kiddo and our now 18 month old. It’s just more “fun” for them. (Leaving this for anyone on the fence.)

My daughter has a toniebox she loves but I think I should’ve bought the yoto instead. It just makes more sense and seems more convenient

I just watched a boy doing a review and he also used it like an .mp3 player. My daughters are adults now, but should they opt to have children, I'll definitely be investing in one of these. 🙂

I got one for a niece for Christmas two years ago and she’s obsessed! When she takes naps or (quiet time) she takes it into her bed and listens to a story and falls asleep! She loves the radio too. I got her a card storage thingy like you have and more cards for Christmas!
