I understand when you die you are absent from the body and what's left behind is a shell. But this is the most solemn part. Her parent had to see their child's casket being lowered into the vault and in the ground. Then they had to turn around and leave her there. It's like she's cold and alone. I have to remind myself the spirit is not in the ground, only the vessel that once housed the soul.
