@slayover50ugc: Medical files should be available to us at any time without charge. It’s our information. I happen to stumble across this email where you can request your own medical information. Just follow the address in the video and ask for the forms that you need to access your medical records. It cost $30 plus HST for one medical record. I’m not sure if there’s further charge for more.
Nova Scotia just started the new OPOR system ? I thought it’s all accessible for free .. have not signed up yet but curious

Major Red Whip Shanky :
I'm in Alberta. I had a blood test, urinalysis and a FIT test done yesterday at the hospital lab 20 minutes drive from home. I recd a notification via email that my blood test results were ready to view before I got home, and this morning my urinalysis and FIT test results were available. No cost for any of it.

Wow! Sad that you need to pay for it though. My sis in Alberta gets access to her stuff immediately. I often use it (with identifying info blacked out) in my classes as teaching materials 😅 Good to know it's semi-available here now too

I heard there are Facebook groups too where people all over try to and successfully successfully figure out various ailments.
