those swags aren't built to last and if this is a long term investment it's not worth it,the fabric is too thin and definitely not suitable for rain or light or temp,the bags shouldn't be like that they'll rip easily and never really a good sign for them to be see thru like that as you can see the bottom of the swag,I grew up in scouts and trust me I know a good quality swag/tent and kmart ones aren't it,yes the swags are cheaper than ones at camping stores but there's a reason for that,my first swag lasted me five years before I passed it down to my sister as I grew too tall it's still in good condition and I used it alot now I have a deluxe version and omg i love it,it's way bigger easier to set up and has windows at the top and bottom plus it came with a mattress in it and the bag only takes 5 minutes to set up or down
