My dog ended up becoming diabetic at around 9 years old - my life became twice daily insulin shots, testing his blood sugars, watching him go totally blind from diabetic cataracts… it was an adjustment but it gets easier / better / less scary with time

When I adopt a baby, I'm with them for life, disability or not. It's a huge learning curve when a disability first always, so I relate on the initial fear before knowing how to handle it sm!
