But I seriously underestimated how many ornaments it would take to make this wreath. I used about 80 medium sized ornaments (half of them were sparkly), and then about 30 smaller ornaments to round it out. My best piece of advice when you’re making your own is to keep the ornaments evenly spaced all the way around the ring. When the spacing is consistent, everything builds up symmetrically and your clusters look uniform. If it’s off, the whole thing can start to look a little lopsided. It really helps to map out your placement ahead of time. And remember—a little hot glue goes a long way.
