yeah they had no right landing on top of a car, if something’s wrong with ur plane u do everything u can and then some to stay away from ppl on the ground. if it’s between a roadway and a more dangerous landing elsewhere, u pick the dangerous landing. i mean seriously what were they thinking? now i hate when ppl try to argue with me ab this bc yes in the moment this is actually what i’d do, idk why some of y’all can’t accept that not everyone is afraid of their fate, but i’m letting myself die a hundred times over before i’d even think of putting another persons life at risk like that. and if anyone acts like that’s some crazy stance to take, not everyone’s first instinct is to value their own life over the lives of others. u rly want to live with the guilt that u chose to sacrifice someone else’s life to save ur own? and i’d just love for someone to explain to me how that’s not exactly what this pilot did. with everything we know rn. bc more often then not pilots have at least some control over an emergency landing, and that looked like a pretty controlled descent onto the highway to me, maybe it’ll be proven otherwise and i’ll be wrong, but watching this video and seeing the egregious way the pilot “handled” this emergency i’d say they should have their license revoked at the least.
