I worked in derm as an MA for 10 years and have never heard this😂 we usually just suggest using plain Vaseline as your lip balm. Aquaphor is fine too but some people have sensitivity to lanolin

My dentist suggested the vitamin lysine it promotes tissue heath especially lips and gums. My lips are plump and beautiful and my skin is clear. Been taking it for 5 years

guys also if you're not drinking enough water your lips are one of the first physical signs. Stay hydrated, it'll keep your lips from drying out *as much* and will help them stop being chapped all the time

This was happening to me and turns out I’m allergic to lanolin, which is in a ton of lip products 😅 Vaseline is the only thing I use now!
