Same here in university working 3-4 jobs, so much sacrifice. I got a good job after. But after graduation, it still took for me a few years to be financially stable because I had no financial literacy. So yes money is important, but money literacy even more

The only nuance I would add is that some high-paying jobs require a constant state of stress—bankers, high-powered lawyers, etc. So a manageable job that gets you money will help!!

I never knew I had trauma with money, like my relationship with money was shaped by my immigrant Latina mom living paycheck to paycheck but still gave me everything I needed 🥺 I feel like wanting money is “bad” but also am really bad at budgeting and spending what I don’t have on items that make me feel good (shopping and spending money recklessly may have been a trauma response I’m realizing) literally having to work on this relationship too 😭
