Here’s one: This was a common one when I’d pick my mom up from work. She worked at a dry cleaners. There was a tailor shop next door. Both closed at 6pm. It never failed that someone would pull up to the tailor shop at like 6:10. The lights were off, it was dark, and the door was locked because the tailor shop owners had already left at 6pm. Still, person who arrived keep yanking on the locked door, banging on the window, peeking inside. Even though there’s a sign on the door with the store hours and it clearly states that the shop closes at 6pm, they’re standing there confused and keep trying to bang on the door and peek into the dark shop as if the owners will magically appear and open up. Then it never fails, they come next door to the dry cleaners as my mom was closing up to ask her to let them into the tailor shop. Of course she can’t let them in! The shop is closed!🤦‍♂️These are the same type of people who pull up to the cleaners at closing time and rather than rush in to get served before closing they sit in their cars talking on their cellphones and then don’t snap into action until they see my mom coming out of the dry cleaners locking up. They’re just shocked that the store closes at 6 and didn’t stay open for them while they yak on the phone!🤦‍♂️
