@halinkahart: 🦶 Ankle Dorsiflexion can take a lot of time ⏳to improve - Here are some common mistakes ❌& solutions ✅ Common Mistakes: - Only using passive or dynamic stretches (& omitting any active stretches) 🥵 - Wearing puffy trainers (only) that either raise the heel or squish the toes (or both) 👟 - Only squatting in lifting shoes (although there is nothing wrong with using them), if you ONLY use lifters for ALL leg work you are missing out on using your ankles more. This is however not personalised advice & in some cases using lifters for comfort/injury reasons maybe necessary 🏋🏽♀️ Solutions: - Using active ankle work like isometrics & eccentrics for enough time to create adaptation (you can start slow & work your way up - the reel is just an example) 🔥 - Wearing barefoot shoes or training barefoot on occasion or gradually ever more 🦶 - If you use lifters, also use zero drop or barefoot work to get your ankles some ‘me’ time 💆 If you found this useful, share with a friend 😊 📚 CPD Mobility Certification & CPD Strength & Mobility Certification available on website - for a sneak peek inside the courses, comment ‘CERT’ below 👨🎓
