my company just installed new cameras with 4 lenses. they claim that the driver facing camera isn't active. I don't trust that as far as I can throw it. I have that inward lense coverd

These companies that have these driver facing cameras are so wrong. They are definitely companies to stay clear of.. but I can see the importance of a frontal facing camera facing the road. That’s just to protect the Driver and company .

insurance company wanted the boss to put front and driver facing cameras in the trucks. the boss said no I don't need to see the guys picking their nose. we have forwarded facing cameras only.

I got tagged by lytx for reaching in my lunchbox. Even on the video you could see my eyes never left the road, I stayed in my lane and no cars were around me. First chance I got I found another job.

it's all up to your company ok how bad they want to enforce whatever it is that you are being flagged for. I went from driver to driver Manager and I stand by those damn cams!! They have saved more drivers than I can list. We focus on rolling stops and cell phone use. but we review the cameras.

We have them. And I screen every event. Admin can remove false positives. Sorry you got tagged but companies that believe in safety are using them the right way.
