Quant trading is all about speed, accuracy, and mathematical modelling. You need strong maths, coding, probability, and experience with real datasets. Many firms prefer graduates who can build models, test strategies, and understand markets through a quantitative lens. You’ll also need: 📚 Strong maths and probability foundation 💻 Coding skills (Python or C++, plus SQL) 📈 Experience with backtesting and data analysis ⚠️ Having one of these degrees doesn’t guarantee a quant trading role – but they give you the toolkit firms look for. Internships and real strategy work make you competitive.
