I have cirrhosis as welll and my edema is out of control. I have been in and out of the hospital while yhey try to manage it and all the say is once you get a liver it will get better. I dont wany to go out or do anything because i am mortified of how i look

Damn Chelsea - I didn’t know all of this was happening to you - I’ve been dealing with upper right quadrant discomfort for a year - didn’t slow down, not that I drank everyday - my liver just felt inflamed- my bloodwork came back good - they thought gallbladder - I think I need to just stop drinking - I stopped fo 9 days and the discomfort subsided … I’m trying to quit all together - and I need to get my diet in check - good luck girl!

I'm trying to do the same from a male perspective...cause it's a massive thing for guys. to talk. I'm stage 4.....and I've relapsed multiple times. and I'm not proud. sometimes I think....what's the point. I've lost 3.5 stone, jaundice comes and goes. oh and I just turned 40 as well in November. I have gall stones and my bile ducts are blocked
