I literally felt like Mary when I was in labor. December 5, night, light snow, Americans in the UK and THREE hospitals told us there were no beds available. See…they have universal healthcare but no mandates on emergency care like we do. We were on the side of the road and a sheep was staring at me. My husband got on the phone with somebody and next thing we know we’re going to Cambridge and they managed to fit me into a storage closet with plug-ins. Literally a storage closet. Nurses kept coming in to get supplies.
