The problem with shroud is I have to keep reminding the Voltron player that it prevents equip, auras, and a significant portion of the things that add counters.

i just run Progenitus, i become the problem when my commander is summoned, especially with Ajani's presence and dictate of the twin gods. unblockable, untargetable, 22 commander damage with every attack

Shroud also does have a bypass, such as board wipes, example: sliver giving other slivers shroud and your opponent uses Settle the Wreckage
