We installed a real French drain this summer and while the groundwater isn’t coming through the floor, water found new ways in… a leaking sink and now our furnace dripping onto the basement floor. Turns out that random drain in the middle of the basement actually had a purpose. You can get a mini pump and put it in the bucket and run the hose to the sum pump. I have one

Just get a little condensate pump, a little tube ran across the ceiling and over to the sump pit

I have mini splits, dont do it. They require a lot of maintenance and grow mold VERY easily!
