@encounterjesusdaily: The book of James is powerful and practical. It reminds us that real faith shows up in our words, our works, and our response to trials. James doesn’t just encourage — he convicts. He challenges believers to live what we claim to believe. Because faith without works is dead, and obedience reveals the heart. 📖❤️🔥 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” (James 1:2-3) And that’s the beauty of James — it pulls our faith out of Sunday morning and into Monday living. It calls us to patience when life is hard, humility when pride knocks, purity when temptation whispers, and compassion when the world grows cold. Not just hearing, but doing. Not just believing, but becoming. Not just faith in our mouth, but Christ in our life. 🔥🙏📖 “Lord, shape our character, sharpen our faith, and let our lives reflect You.” #jesus #gospel #faith #god #christiantiktok

it's not that you read it it's HOW you read it 🥹

THEKGB :

James 1:2–4 (NRSV): “My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance; and let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:5–8 (NRSV): “If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you. But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind…”

believing in a god that says he is perfect but he is worst than humans

TheMommestFox :

I fear this is the biggest weakness spot in my faith. I don't ask for anything for myself. I never do, even with the people in my life. I don't ask God for anything for myself. I was told I was selfish a LOT growing up, and I was forced to take care of myself and not rely on anyone as I grew up. And I think that took over my prayer life as well... I need to remedy this.

mazet :

It's not what he said, it's how he said it🎯👌🏾
