@myenglishcountrycottage: A magical Christmas morning. Opening the gloriously wonderful @lucytiffney beautiful blanket of eye joy and then a cake decoration demo @Fortnum & Mason by the incredible @Juliet Sear . My inner Victoria sponge slightly deflated when I saw all the baking celebrities (Bake Off’s @Kezias kitchen was helping out, a gazillion baking beauties and the super elegant Kelly Osbourne), I was feeling rather smug at not getting lost and turning the correct way out of the tube station but this room of baking royalty (Juliet actually makes cakes for King Charles and Prince William! Actual real life royalty!!) made me want to run back to my cottage as fast as my quaking legs would carry me. Thankfully I found Belle in matching red dress and made a gorgeous new friend from a baking empire so relaxed into my fizz and watched with awe as Juliet twirled and iced the cake whilst chitter chattering and smiling the most beautiful smile at everyone. What a gorgeous human being and so so talented. I am now expecting my bakes to defy the power of La Aga and achieve icing perfection with Juliet’s beauuuuutiful new range that she has designed with @silverwoodbakewareltd - ohhhh the colours! The feel! What an incredible festive treat, thank you Fortnums and Juliet for such a glorious morning and thank you Lucy for being such a lovely friend and sending me one of your truly stunning designs. Two extraordinarily talented and delightfully lovely women, I feel super inspired and very very lucky. Happy what a morning Wednesday!
