in Sweden, every year for all vehicles... that's why we don't need emergency lanes that you have in the US. our trucks have functional brakes.👌

Europe consists of almost 50 countries and in these countries there are different rules and regulations. Some countries are very strict about checkups, some more loosely enforced

in croatia the registration lasts a year, as does insurance..so such inspection is of course a yearly thing. as annoying and expensive as it is, at least it keeps the vehicles in check

not only that but in the UK they pull trucks over regularly and do full on the spot inspections and if there's an issue, a prohibition is issued and the truck can't moved until its roadworthy
