get the chuck 70s they are unfortunately more expensive but worth it. regular ones are $60 and today’s day and age that’s actually kind of cheap for a shoe. not that cheap for it to break that fast but definitely an only last for a year kind of cheap

If you ever go to Japan, pick up a pair there. Converse in Japan is not owned by Nike and is a separate entity, so the quality is MUCH better. Specifically packed less stuff in my suitcase to make sure I’d have room to bring them back 😌

i got my first pair of converse at 14 in 2005 and they finally disintegrated when i was 21 or 22. I got myself a pair last year for my birthday so not quite a year and i need to get them resoled already 😐

They are made now out of recycled materials not true canvas or rubber so they are not as structured as they used to be, they made the adjustment in 2015 to fully recycled materials and upped the prices. If you want " real" converse you have to find a pair on ebay with a manufacturer date prior to 2015 or order from Japan cause they do not use the recycled material in Japan
