I always give it a good hour or two before I call and see if the prescription was even sent (I've had instances where it wasn't sent until days later 😒). But I would never expect it to be ready immediately. Thank you pharmacy techs though! You all deal with too much that has me irritated at these people for you 😂.

I get annoyed as the MA when I discharge the patient and they say “so will the pharmacy have my meds ready once I get there?” I literally say “idk I don’t work at the pharmacy” and they just go “oh”

We have a doctor’s office that is less than a mile away from the pharmacy that I work at. They always come right after their appointments. 🤦🏾♀️
