@thehockingadventurebus: We waited three months for the new Kuat Piston Ion to drop and it was 💯 worth the wait! After getting our new e bikes, we knew we needed the best rack possible to carry our e bikes around the country with us. That’s when we discovered the new Kuat Piston Ion which is RV and off road rated! [ad] Our old bike setup did the job, but this upgrade changed everything for us. For the first three months of having our Lectric e bikes, our two foldable e bikes went into separate 50 gallon totes that only fit inside the bus, and our larger XPedition 2.0 e bike had to be laid down in the back of our car. They took up a lot of extra storage space on travel days. We decided to hold off on getting a rack because we knew Kuat was releasing something new, and we are so happy we did. The Kuat Piston ION is designed for heavier bikes including e bikes. The ramp and wide trays make it easy for anyone to load and unload the bikes. The arms lock onto the tires while the straps keep everything extra secure. The setup includes a hitch lock and cable lock for added protection. Now two of our e bikes ride on the rack and the third get stored in a tote in the car. The Kuat Piston Ion has made hauling our e-bikes so much easier 🚴‍♂️!
