Do you know why China has over 50K kilometers of high speed rail? Because it’s not a capitalism country,what I mean by that? Is that 90% of the high speed rail lines are actually losing money for the short term but is still needed, so the goverment will make such an investment. For a capitalism country no company would make such an investment to lose money! Always put the people first!

Some are saying $145 sounds expensive. She says 3½ hour journey so in miles on a Chinese high speed train that equates to around 700 miles. The ticket is Business Class. a standard ticket, in what is still a very comfortable seat would cost around $35 to $40 for a journey of that length. On Passport, it is required on boarding for foreigners, simply as ID for security. Local people present China ID. I have travelled on Chinese high speed often. they are so smooth and quite, you can barely feel any vibration and that's at speeds up to 217 miles per hour (350km per hour).
